This page summarises the main terms of a SCAN24 lease. It is not the lease agreement. Your signed lease agreement contains the full terms and takes precedence over this summary.
1. Parties
Leases are provided directly by SCAN24. No third-party lender is involved.
2. Tenure
The minimum lease period is 36 months. Longer terms are available on request.
3. Payments
Lease payments are fixed monthly amounts, collected by auto-debit from your bank account. The amounts are set out in your lease options and lease agreement.
4. Equipment
The equipment remains the property of SCAN24 during the lease. It must be used at the facility named in the agreement, by trained medical staff, in line with the instructions for use.
5. Service bundle
Where your lease includes the service bundle (included in the Upgrade Lease and optional on the Standard and Fleet Lease), it covers warranty for the lease term, repairs at our in-house repair centre, and a standby scope during repairs, as described in the Uptime Promise and your agreement.
6. Damage and loss
Faults from normal use are handled under the service bundle. Accidental damage, misuse, loss and theft are handled under our Damage Policy.
7. Trade-in
Where a trade-in is agreed, its value is applied as set out in your lease options, subject to verification of the traded-in equipment.
8. End of term
Upgrade Lease: you may return the equipment, renew the lease or upgrade to newer equipment. The upgrade option is part of the Upgrade Lease only and is not included in the service bundle. Standard and Fleet Lease: our team will contact you before the term ends and walk you through your options.
9. Early termination and default
Early termination and the consequences of missed payments are set out in your lease agreement. Please speak to us early if your circumstances change. See also Cancellation & Returns.
